Petra Pine is a writer from Zagreb, Croatia. She writes everything from speculative fiction to romantic comedies, but her most beloved genre is horror, especially a mix of slashers and dark comedy focused on queer experiences.
Some of her work include the short story Melitina kuća čudesa, published in the Posljednja kuća u Šenoinoj ulici anthology and a couple of short stories published in Croatian speculative fiction magazine Morina kutija. A Night to Slay For is her debut novella.

In her spare time, she’s a moderator for the local online writing community Balkan Writers (you can find them on Discord and Instagram). She likes to watch cringe horror movies, make overly hard quizzes for Croatian fandom conventions, embroider on everything she can get her hands on, and read dark academia books.

When not complaining about the lack of her free time she can be found drinking coffee and petting every animal in a hundred-meter radius.
